Clean the shock absorber after each use to remove sweat and dirt.
Use a damp cloth and soft soap, avoiding aggressive chemicals that could damage the materials.
Leave to dry the shock absorber in the open air, far from direct heat sources (such as radiators or the intense sun) to avoid the deformation or hardening of the materials.
Store the shock absorber in a dry and well ventilated place. Avoid wetlands that could promote the development of mold.
Make a periodic inspection to verify that there are no signs of deterioration or excessive wear that could harm its effectiveness.

- Make sure the shock absorber is properly positioned under the saddle, with an appropriate release of the spine.
- Use the shock absorber only with stool adapted to the morphology of the horse to avoid discomfort or excessive pressure.
- Regularly check the state of the shock absorber to detect any wear or damage. A damaged shock absorber can compromise the comfort and safety of the horse.
- If the horse is not used to using a shock absorber, gradually introduce it so that it gets used to the new contact.

Machine washing:

• Before putting your cushion in the machine, use a a soft brush, a stopper or the best of the best, a Magic Brush to remove the hairs.
• If your cushion has fragile details, turn it inside out and slip it into a washing bag to protect it.
• Use a natural detergent 🧼 (but no softener to avoid allergic reactions in our horses!)
• We can also add washing balls LeMieux that will help us remove even more hairs.
• Set the cycle to a maximum of 30 degrees.
• Do not put your cushion in the dryer; let it air dry.

If cushions with sheep wool:

• If your cushion has a wool part, do not hesitate to use your hairdryer at a distance of 20 cm from your cushion to keep the volume of the wool as long as possible.

Cushions made of leather, felt, gel, and mesh:

• We recommend washing your cushions by hand! A soft brush, or with a sponge, slightly damp.
• Add some Marseille soap, a little patience and here is a just as conclusive result.
• Let it air dry.
