The Horseware story began with a small team, in Dundalk, Ireland, in 1985. After months of research and hand sewing, the prototype of the iconic Rambo Original was born, setting the standard for the modern cover design.

Determined to produce a rug that doesn't leak, doesn't make the horse sweat or slip, founders Tom and Carol MacGuinness, created the first fully waterproof and breathable rug that actually works.

Today, products are still manufactured in the same town in Ireland under Tom's watchful eye and with the same attention to detail and high quality materials as in 1985. Horseware constantly strives to produce the best .
