After blowing out her first candle alongside you in September 2019, Ohlala wanted above all to take on a new challenge.
This challenge was not the easiest for a small online saddlery trying to navigate the vast world of horses.
This year, Ohlala wanted to meet you, thank you for your support every day.
This is why the team decided to embark on a new adventure by participating in its first physical event: The Paris Horse Show 2019.
And what an adventure!
Believe us, we didn't expect so much excitement , so much love on our stand.
Indeed, after a few small adventures (what would Ohlala be without our misadventures you will tell us), so many of you showed us your love for our little online saddlery.
Meeting you was for us the best gift of this end of 2019 , whether you are regular customers, brand new to our site or our application, or even whether you are ambassadors.
We have indeed had the immense pleasure of meeting and seeing again some of our ambassadors who represent our saddlery so well, we are so happy to count them among us: Clémence, Clara, Mathilde, Alix, Héloïse, Ann, Marie, Cassandre. Once again, many thanks for your help and support throughout the show.
We obviously think very strongly of our ambassadors who were unable to be present, we can't wait to see you and meet you <3
We can never thank you enough for everything you have given us, for your absolutely magnificent letters, for your incredible gifts which obviously boosted the morale of the troops after a few mishaps, which in hindsight, now make us laugh.
The little Ohlala version tiles!
1) Losing the keys to the truck on the first day (yes, it’s possible!)
Of course, the deal wouldn't have been so funny if the stock for the entire weekend hadn't been locked inside. Fortunately, great Geogeo and Marie-Capucine were there to drive in the middle of the night and bring us back the spare keys the next morning. Double which will then remain on Geoffrey's neck for the rest of the stay!
2) Spend very short nights
The Longines Masters sometimes got the better of us and we have to believe that the music was not always so bad because we sometimes hung around a little late at night towards the second hall...
3) Block your cash register
And yes ! And from the first day there too! Enough to get us in the mood since a tiny piece of misplaced paper managed to block our brand new cash register. And all this in front of a group of young girls (whom we kiss and thank more for their patience haha). A little marathon in the Salon in the middle of Wednesday with the cash register in my arms and a little crowbar later, the cash register reopened. But she will keep the traces of this little story!
4) Being out of bags
Young or old, we will have almost all missed them from Saturday. We hadn't expected your warm welcome!
6) Out of stock following Black Friday
And therefore very little stock for you on some of our little nuggets during the Show. But they will come back, I promise.
7) Having your pallet truck stolen, which also did not belong to us (but finding it!)
And this, during the assembly and dismantling of the stand. So here we are all alone with our little arms already very tired to carry all the stock to the truck and only find it hidden after all the dismantling has been done.
If after the strikes, part of the team lost in the center of Paris and lots of other little anecdotes, you will see us again next year.
It's because we love you very much and you have returned it to us a hundredfold. So THANK YOU, THANK YOU, AND THANK YOU AGAIN <3
