Whether we go to a competition, on a training, have a big session at home or even just for pleasure, our little horses deserve to be massaged 😇  The management of the horse will be different depending on its needs but also on the intensity of the effort provided. Here, Camille Condé Ferreira gives us her little tips to support the well-being of her horses over 3 days of competition ❤️

Camille's tips for optimal recovery ✨

If we have a competition that takes place over 3 days, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, we will use different products to help them and limit the risk of soreness. On Friday and Saturday, Camille recommends using oils that we always adjust according to the horse's needs. For example, Top Recup and Fresh Oil are perfect oils to activate blood circulation and support the muscles

She confides in us that she prefers the Fresh Oil for summer, as it brings a little touch of freshness thanks to its scent and the essential oils it contains. On the other hand, the Top Recup is an essential for recovery after exertion and the prevention of soreness. You can apply them to all the sensitive areas of your horse, making sure to focus on circular massage, in the direction of the hair and the blood - lymphatic systems. You should feel the small tensions and warm up the muscle to help your horse recover gently 🥰

The most mobilized areas during work are mainly the limbs, the shoulders, the neck - the cervicals, as well as the entire back, from the withers to the croup. It is essential to take care of our companion to help him in his recovery, thus in the muscle building and performance optimization process 🔥

For Sunday, we will rather focus on the clays because it's really to conclude the weekend on a good note and take care of the tendons of our little horses. Camille mainly uses Tendi Flash or Sport Clay on the bony parts of the limbs. She primarily applies it to the front of the foreleg as well as the knee joint at the front and the back. She combines one of these two clays with Gun Tare on the tendinous areas where we usually place the bandage.

For her, the combination of the two clays works perfectly. She applies clay on her limbs every Sunday after competitions to help the tendons rest and limit the risks of injuries or minor discomfort in the following days 💕

But of course, we don't forget to help the internal side! Camille confides that she gives them the dietary supplement Help Recup which is her ally to reduce cramps, soreness as well as overall fatigue. It's a natural and non-doping supplement that she can therefore use throughout the duration of the competition ✨

You now know the entire care routine of our professional rider! Feel free to share your little post-competition or intense effort routine on social media 😍
