You are many, like all of us at Ohlala, to be completely fans of sheepskin equipment.
Straps, halters, shock absorbers, and sheepskin protections are ultra trendy. Chic, comfort, and softness, we can only adopt them!
But the most recurring question is the one that holds you back the most from acquiring the soft equipment of your dreams:
How to maintain sheepskin equipment?
You can choose from different types of maintenance.
Kentucky Horsewear, THE trendy brand of sheepskin equipment, offers synthetic material equipment that allows for easy maintenance.
You can indeed wash your synthetic sheepskin items in the machine at 30°C. Remember to gently brush your sheepskin equipment with a soft brush to remove sand and hair before machine washing.
Let your items air dry, but be careful, absolutely no tumble dryer :)! It could damage and pill the sheepskin.
Once the sheepskin is completely dry, give it a gentle brush to restore a like-new effect! You are ready to head to the competition with well-cleaned equipment.
For items made of natural wool, we recommend hand washing.
Soak your material in a bowl of lukewarm water after giving it a gentle brush to remove sand and hairs. Add a little hand detergent and gently rub while lathering the soap on the wool. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and then wring out.
Still no tumble dryer! Also prefer air drying.
