FIGHT AGAINST MUD SCAB 🤕

THE MUD FEVER : the hell of our winters 🤦‍♂️

In its true name "Dermatophilosis", it is a skin condition that creates small scabs, mainly on the limbs of our horses, but also on the back, the croup, or the withers. Winter ⛄️ is the most favorable period for its development, due to the high humidity 💦 in this season. Unfortunately, the scabs are painful 🤕 for our protégés and can lead to lameness 🙇‍♀️

How to treat it?

The first step is to reduce humidity 💧 as much as possible on the infested area. It will be necessary to disinfect the scabs, wash with an antiseptic, rinse thoroughly, and then dry the area. For this, we have tested and approved for you the antibacterial solid shampoo from Karitale.

⚠️  WARNING : when drying, make sure to have a towel (like the groom towel Ohlala Sellerie, for example 😇 ) that you will dab gently on the scabs without tearing them so that the treatment does not turn into an unpleasant moment for the horse 🐎

To sanitize and soften the scabs in order to treat mud fever as quickly as possible, we recommend several ointments to be applied daily until the mud fever is completely behind you. Feedback regarding these is unanimously positive 🎉 , it's up to you to find the one that will be the most effective on your darling 💖

Find HERE all the Ohlala selection of care 👨‍⚕️  that will help you in your fight 🤜🏼🤛🏼  !

You can notably administer a dietary supplement 🍽  from Hiltonn herbs that helps maintain the natural resistance to the bacteria 🦠  present in the mud, and thus prevent the development of this pathology. Just add it to the daily ration, if possible in two doses.

We hope from the bottom of our hearts 💓  that this GDB will soon be just a bad memory for you and your partner 👯‍♀️  !
