That's it! The weekend is over.

For those of us who were in competition, it's time to take care of our little protégés and pamper them to start the week in great shape.

So we thought we would share our 10 favorite products for post-competition care.

1- Arnica Clay, to be applied the same evening

Perfect for taking care of your horse's strained tendons, a clay poultice to leave on overnight will be the essential ally of any respectable caring rider (yes, just that!).

How to apply it?

The Clay Officinalis being already ready to use, simply apply the paste directly onto your horse's limb, making sure to cover the entire limb with a thick enough layer to cover all the hair.

You can then let the clay dry in the open air and leave it on all night. For an even more beneficial effect, cover the Clay with sulfurized film or newspaper and place your rest bandages on top. Remove it the next day with a good shower, rinsing the limb from the bottom upwards to boost blood circulation.

2 - Spa Noxe, relax the back

To promote muscle relaxation, nothing is better than a little tonic massage with the Spa milk from the Noxe brand.

Thanks to its base of peppermint and tea tree essential oils, this non-greasy milk applied pure on the back during a slow and firm massage for 5 minutes will be the best ally for a horse much more available from the beginning of the week.

3 - Hoof Solution Kevin Bacon's, care for frogs

If you too have been caught in the rain all weekend and the portable stalls do not allow you to take proper care of your horse's frogs, we have the miracle product.

For all hooves weakened by so-called rotten frogs, Hoof Solution is for me THE unbeatable solution. A cheesy phrase but true: "try it and you'll adopt it".

4 - Dry Shampoo Officinalis

To eliminate all traces of dirt and residues of sand, dust, etc., we love to use a little dry shampoo when returning from a competition. After a good grooming, it will leave a sweet scent of rose, lavender, blueberry, or sage depending on the chosen fragrance and will help you get rid of all the dirt accumulated over the weekend. We are big fans of the blueberry scent!

5 - The Mash Officinalis

To improve transit, supplement your horse after exertion or simply reward it, we favor a good mash on Sunday evening or the following day. Highly appreciated by horses, it can also develop the appetite of anxious horses in competition and encourage them to hydrate and eat even far from their usual comfort.
